Wild Dunes Resort is about to become even larger with a 153-room hotel expansion slated for completion January 2021. Encompassing four acres, the New Hotel will feature an 8,000 sq. ft. grand ballroom with pre-function and terrace space, a 3,000 sq. ft. rooftop ballroom featuring a 6,000 sq. ft. terrace with stunning panoramic ocean views- perfect for weddings, galas, and cocktail parties.
The New Hotel at Wild Dunes, designed in a graceful arc overlooking a new pool and new freestanding restaurant, will provide a relaxed yet elegant environment, welcoming guests with a sweeping porte-cochere. Wild Dunes’ existing pool deck will be extended to include a new pool with kids splash pad, jacuzzis, and a upscale casual poolside café. It will be located in the core of the Resort directly adjacent to the current three-building Village at Wild Dunes guestrooms and suites. An expansive new destination spa with 14 treatment rooms and a 2,750 sq. ft. start-of-the-art fitness center will also be featured new amenities.
Wild Dunes Resort offers 2.5 miles of coastline, two Tom Fazio designed championship golf courses, world-ranked tennis courts, the Boardwalk Inn hotel and vacation rental condominiums and luxury vacation homes. It currently features nine restaurants and cafes, 50,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting and function space including the signature Grand Pavilion, fitness center and spa.
